When I have to brake quickly, the pedal goes to the floor. What's the cause?
When you press the brake pedal, the calipers squeeze the brake pads against the rotors. This slows down the wheels and eventually brings your car to a stop. If the pedal goes all the way to the floor, it could be due to a leak in the hydraulic system that powers the brakes. The most likely culprit is a leaking brake line.
