My car suddenly won't go into reverse. What can I do?
There are a few things that could be causing this problem. The first thing to check is the transmission fluid level. If it is low, then topping it off may solve the problem. If the fluid level is fine, then the next thing to check is the transmission filter. A clogged filter can cause the car to have trouble going into reverse. Changing the filter may solve the problem. If neither of these things works, then the problem may be with the transmission itself and it will need to be taken to a mechanic for further diagnosis.
